the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council website.

The 12th Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council, which began at a new turning point for local councils with the complete revision of the Local Autonomy Act, has finished its first half and opened its second act.

Our region now faces many challenges to overcome, such as addressing low birth rates, responding to local extinction, and securing new growth engines.

All members of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Council will use the precious authority given by citizens to untie these challenges one by one, and do our best to pass on a better Gyeongsangbuk-do to future generations.

We will be reborn as a council with expertise that proposes reasonable policy alternatives through continuous research on local issues and field-centered council activities.

Moreover, through checks and monitoring of provincial administration, which is the council's inherent role, and smooth communication and cooperation with the executive branch, we will strive to be a council that meets citizens' expectations.
